A man has been killed in India after two wild elephants trampled on him.
Two cows were also killed in the rampage as the animals ran amok through a city in the Karnataka region.
Witnesses say the elephants came running out of a forest into a busy suburb, crushed a man to death and then started tossing the two cows up into the air.
It took three hours for the authorities to tranquilise the pair, with many in the community blaming mankind’s encroachment into the elephant’s community for the incident.
