It’s now thought one of the famous so called lost cities of the world was built on top of Llama droppings.
Machu Picchu in Peru a place steeped in Inca history in the Peruvian Andes is celebrating the cenetenery of its discovery in July this year and scientist have been trying to find out more about this very special place.
According to a report located in the Archealogical review Antiquity, llama droppings provided the bases for growth in the Inca society.
Even today the animals droppings in that part of the region are used for crop fertiliser and cooking fuel.
