In light of the Gulf of Mexico oil catastrophe where over twenty five million gallons of crude oil has already leaked from this single well and the prospects of twice this much that will spill into the sea before it can be capped. We need to question why we are told that previously working oil fields either quit producing any oil at all or substantially reduced their outflow causing their perspective companies to shut them down. If this one well at a depth of 5,000 ft. under water with the pressure involved at this level can lose this much crude oil in this relatively short period of time with no let up in sight. It seems like we are being lied to about how much crude oil really is available around the world and especially here in the United States.
