A volcanic eruption high in Iceland is causing travel misery for UK flights, grounding many, and leaving mainland Europe next in the firing line.
It's the second year in a row that this sort of incident has happend.
British Airways is now conducting test flights into the ash cloud near Newcastle and the data is being analysed.
Meanwhile a row has broken out between the Civil Aviation Authority and Ryanair, after the airlines boss said there was no volcanic ash and that the CAA should get there finger out of their incompetent bureaucratic backsides and allow aircraft back into the skies.
Air passengers are being asked to check airlines before leaving to go to the airport.
